AirTag is a super easy way to keep your stuff safe. Attach one AirTag to your keys and the other to your backpack. This will make them visible in the Find My app, where you can also search for your Apple devices and stay in touch with family members and friends.
Losing your wallet won't cause you too much trouble when you have an AirTag attached to it. From the new Destinations tab of the Find My app or by saying "Hey Siri, find my wallet" you can set the AirTag to play a beep from its speaker. If your wallet is hidden nearby, such as under the sofa or in the next room, you can find it by following the beep.

If your AirTag is nearby, iPhone can guide you directly to it with Accurate Find. Thanks to Ultra Wideband technology, you can see the correct direction and distance in relation to your AirTag. Accurate search works on iPhone 11 and later.

If you forget something further away, such as the beach or the gym, the worldwide Find My network of hundreds of millions of iPhone, iPad and Mac devices will help you find your AirTag. It's designed to keep your privacy protected every step of the way.

AirTag sends a secure Bluetooth signal that can be recognized by nearby Find My network devices. These devices send AirTag location to iCloud. After that, you can view the location on the map in the Find My app. The entire process is anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy. The process works efficiently, so there is no need to worry about battery life or mobile data usage.

Like other Apple devices, AirTag can also be set to Lost mode. Then, when a device on the network finds it, you'll automatically get a notification. You can also set it so that others can get your contact information by touching the AirTag with an NFC-enabled smartphone. The same technology as when paying by phone is used here.
